What are the income guidelines for renting?

  • Minimum gross monthly income of the 4X monthly rental price
  • In the case of two incomes, the second income counts for 50%

Can I receive a rent allowance?

The apartments in Het Blikveld are rented out in the free rental sector, not in the social rental sector. You cannot receive a rent allowance for a private sector dwelling.

Who can occupy the apartment?

The signatories of the tenancy agreement must occupy the apartment. After moving to Het Blikveld, all occupants, including the signatories of the tenancy agreement, register at the rented address with the Municipal Personal Records Database (Gemeentelijke Basis Administratie).

What is the minimum rental period?

The minimum rental period is 3 years. After that, the rental agreement can be terminated on the 1st or 15th of the following month.

What kind of kitchen does the apartment have?

Each apartment has a modern kitchen. The layout is shown on the floor plans. The cabinets are glossy white, the worktop is black/anthracite granite. The built-in equipment is by the brand ATAG and consists of an induction hob, extractor hood, dishwasher, oven with integrated microwave and a fridge without freezer compartment.

Are there any service costs in addition to the rental price?

Yes, please take into account an (advance) service fee of € 50 per month.

Hoe zit het met parkeren?

Ieder appartement heeft 1 parkeerplaats. Deze zit bij de huurprijs inbegrepen. Voor elektrische auto’s is een laadpaal voorzien.

How are the walls, floors and ceilings finished?

The walls in the living room, hall and bedrooms are covered with glass fibre wallpaper and finished with a sauce (RAL 9010 white). The ceiling is painted. The walls in the toilet above the tiles are also sprayed. The floor is finished with a PVC floor.

How is the bathroom decorated and finished?

The layout of the bathroom is shown in the floor plans on the website. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with a glass shower wall. There is also an electric towel radiator and a sink with a mirror.

All tiles are from the brand Mosa. On the floor grey anthracite 45 x 45 cm. The wall tiles high gloss white, 30 x 45 cm, tiled up to 1.50 metres.

How is the heating arranged?

Underfloor heating is the main heating in the apartments. The bathroom has a towel radiator. The apartments have individual gas-fired central heating boilers.

Is it allowed to paint walls?

The walls are finished with glass fabric wallpaper in the colour white. You don’t have to do anything to the walls anymore. If you still want to give the walls a colour, you may do so. Please bear in mind that if you ever decide to leave the apartment, the walls must be restored to their original colour.

Is a guarantee possible to rent?

Parental guarantee is unfortunately not possible.

Are there any additional costs?

Yes, take into account €125 administration costs for drawing up the rental contract.
